Have a lighting inverter(has battery backup), fed from normal panel, feeding EM lights. Any code reason why you could run these circuits and the norm in same conduit?

I don't think you can have line and load wiring this nature due to an article 700 violation of mixing normal power with an emergency source in the same raceway.
