Click to expand... I would have to say that if it is listed as "EM" meaning emergency that it would be a battery backup fixture on an unswitched circuit

Click to expand... If no battery then they should be connected to an emergency (legally required standby) circuit backed up by a generator. And since it's a nightlight it would be unswitched.
