Do Emails pertaining order info, like delivery dates, qty, etc. Hold any weight when parts don't show up or they are off schedule etc. Other than having a document to justify someone else's mistake.
Basically are they somewhat binding in anyway?
Say I order 30 lights I email a parts guy he says yes I can get them to you by xx-xx-xxxx for $xxx.xx for X-qty.
Then they show up over priced or late or half the order show up with the other half a week out. Do I just get to be the cushion for the rock and the hard place?
Never had a problem myself, I find less mistakes happen on either end when emails are going back and forth.
