I have a geared motor for belt conveyor and its specs 1.5KW, 460V Y connected, 3.7rated current, 60hz and rated speed 1730rpm and module setting curret of 3.7A. Now i have just replaced it the same geared motor but big size which rated 2.2KW, 460V Y connected, 4.25rated current, 60hz and rated speed is 1705rpm.
Regarding 115% protection(4.25 x 1.15). With regards ,I set EMC to 4.25A module setting curret, expecting to trip fast before it reach 115% operation for protection of motor.
I have two option to check with actual current 4.25x1.5=4.375A and 4.25x2=8.5A whether the 4.25A module setting current is correct with the time frame to trip motor , the trouble with me is to determine the what is the tripping time (s) of 4.25 in EMC

Thanks for any comment and suggestion

If you want to know trip time (i.e. curve) for the EMC module (motor overload?), I believe you will have to obtain that from the module manufacturer. They may even have it on their website.
