230.85 says disconnect must be at a readily accessible location. if i install the meter and main disconnect on say a pole shed and than run service to house would i have to still install another disconnect on the dwelling before i enter the house. the main ocpd and meter is visible on pole shed from house. my client is building pole shed now and a house next year. that’s why i’m installing service on pole shed now. i suppose the disconect on house could be non fused. if it’s needed. thanks

The wording in that section is for "service conductors", you will end up with a feeder (I think). A separate structure will require a disconnecting means but that can be either inside or outside of the structure.

MY QUESTION IS WOULD THAT EMERGENCY DISCONNECT HAVE TO BE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE SO THE FIREMAN COULD SEE IT.AND NOT HAVE TO GO TO THE OUTSIDE OF POLESHED TO DISCONNECT POWER TO HOUSE. THANKS

What are you yelling for? You're looking at services in article 230, the correct article is 225.

Are the conductors to the house a feeder or service entrance conductors? I don't see an outside disconnect required for a separate structure fed by a feeder.
