Emergency Lighting and non Emergency lighting

I am hoping someone can help explain how LED e-lighting and non e-lighting are installed. Do they use the same raceway? Seems like a number of lights are connected to a central junction box and only one whip goes to each light. need someone to help explain how thee LED lights are installed and still meet the 725 requirments
