True or myth ? it is possible to fill a box, enclosure, gutter etc. with different systems wires? searching the code I don't find any prohibition but Im still not sure. Thanks I hope you understand my english.

Yes and no, depending on what you mean by "system" The nec considers a 120/240 and 120/208 to be different systems, and that is allowed.
But no for limited energy (not low voltage) even if wired with 600 volt insulation.
And if someone posts 300.3(C)(1) please read the FPN and section 90.3 before you post.

As far as emergency and normal, the answer is no, see 700.9(B).

If you are talking about an article 701 (Legally Required Standby System) or an article 702 (Optional Standby System) the answer is yes.

what about non required standby systems such as a generator to operate a pump but no life safety items?

This would be a 702 application and the answer is yes.

I meant non health care such as a lift or booster pump station

And 702 is not pertaining to health care facilities, please read 702.

If I were referring to a health care facility I would have pointed to the health care facility equivalent of 702 which would be 517.34.

Check out 700.9(B), it lets you know when normal and emergency are allowed together.

I can't believe that wasn't already brought up. ;) :D

Electrical systems on a generator?
First determine which article applies 700, 701 or 702.
(read the scope if each article). 700 is the most restrictive.

my point was if the genset is on sight for convenience only and not for required standby lighting etc. is it OK? I did have an inspector one time tell me even though we had a continuous row of 8' HO's with 1 lamp normal and 1 lamp emergency we had to have 2 flexes from light to light 1 normal 1 emergency.I built one row and called him back when he saw the end result he saw things my way
