A local school has had all of their fixtures converted to ballast bypass LED tubes. There are a handful of emergency fixtures with backup power ballasts and the ballasts were left connected so they would operate during a power outage. They've asked for these to be repaired. I could get a new fluorescent backup power ballast but would prefer to eliminate the ballast portion. Is there a battery backup that will go into a troffer that doesn't have the ballast and will work with ballast bypass LED's? Basically, a 120 v input and a 120 v output battery backup. I've found LED battery backups but most of them have DC output for fixtures with external drivers, not tubes with internal drivers. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.
