This is in USA . I have a service call tomorrow that I have to install a emergency stop switch for a cardboard compactor. I haven't done this type of work and I don't remember off the top of my head where the switches are located on these compactors. The job site is an hour away so I don't have time to look at it right now but can anyone give me an idea of how to approach this. I'm imagining that there's some kind of control box with low voltage and I'm going to wire the emergency switch to cut off pretty much
the whole system. So I'm guessing there's a low voltage transformer in there somewhere , would I be wiring into the wire coming off the load of the transformer and pretty much cutting that with the switch in the middle?
