4.5.2.2.3.3 in NFPA 99 is Delayed-Automatic Connections to Critical System. This is under Type 2 facilities.
4.5.3.1 indicates that emergency loads must be automatically restored in 10 seconds.
It does say under this paragragh "all emergency loads defined herein". And it is true that the emergency loads listed under type 2 facilities appears to be only Life Safety branch loads.
So I gather Emergency means Life Safety and Critical for Type 1 facilities but for Type 2 faciltiies "Emergency" means only the Life Safety branch.
Is this correct and if so where is this spelled out?
