I'm going to have a 500kVA transformer against a wall on the other side of which will be work stations. i.e. computers. To eliminate any concerns for EMF interference of those machines, I know that I can put a steel plate on the wall but what I don't are the particulars. e.g.
1. This is a new space, would you build this into the wall?
2. if the transformer is 4 feet wide, how much larger would the plate width need to be (if in fact it had to be wider than the tranformer.
3. Same question for height of the steel plate
4. How about thickness of the plate?
Appreciate your input.
Thanks,
Mike
