EMT as EGC

If the previous install used the EMT as an EGC for a 225a panel do we need to have certain fittings that are code compliant when using EMT as EGC? We relocated the panel and used the same feeders and rerouted the conduit. Are set screw ok or compression only? They had compression fittings installed originally

All listed EMT fittings are approved for grounding so you can use any type that you want including set screw.

It’s a sub panel and the guy I’m working with said to put the green bonding screw in but obviously I know that’s not the right thing to do

Green bonding screw in the neutral bus? You're correct that's a code violation.

Like to bond the neutral to the case of the panel. Only at first means of disconnect
