I am looking for a Fill Capacity Chart for various EMT sizes. Primarily Cat 6 is used, and a 50% fill is adhered too. So, I need to know what the max fill is
Thank You

For CAT6 cable the, maximum fill is 100% or as much as you can stuff in without damaging the cable. The NEC is silent on fill for CAT6 cables. For 50% you'll need to figure it out on your own using the tables in chapter 9.

Maybe 99%

Article 800.100 mentions following Chapter 3. So follow the raceway type article and 300.17.

The last sentence says to disregard fill tables of Chapte 3 and Chapter 9.

i always thought each cable should be counted as a conductor. measure teh outside diameter of the cable and factor that into the 40% fill. i dont think its possible to fill up a raceway to 100%

It not possible to have 100% fill, but the code does not prohibit you from trying.

i just read article 800.110 and it says the tables shall not apply. so basically you can jam a raceway with as many cat6 or cat5 cables as you want? i dont think thats a good practice since that insulation is so fragile. id be worried about cutting the jacket or messing up the conductors themselves with a raceway jam packed with cables

When I run conduit for the voice/data guys we give them a ? or 1 inch EMT for 2 cat 5's or 6's with pull string. Fill is not an issue.

I am seeing this on job specs quite often lately. Usually a 1" EMT.
