This might be a stupid question but what schedule is EMT? PVC has schedule 40 and 80 but there is no schedule for EMT in the code book. I need to know the schedule because I am specifying a firestopping detail and the firestopping detail says I need schedule 10 or higher pipe.

EMT has been adequate in every fire penetration detail I have seen.

Each fire stop mfg has systems that are listed for various wall assemblies. I like Hilti, 3M. Hilti has a very good tech support line
