emt to mc

I was on a job today and i seen emt changed over to mc using a re and a ridgid coupling. I know the inspectors let us use this as a acceptable changeover. But the problem i have is i seen this inside a stud wall. Is this legal or not.

300.14(F) requires that this be accessible after installation.

(F) Fitting. A fitting identified for the use shall be permitted in lieu of a box or conduit body where conductors are not spliced or terminated within the fitting. The fitting shall be accessible after installation.
