EMT vs RMC

Is there a preclusion from using EMT, rather than RMC, in an indoor industrial boiler building which is a possible wet location with No chemical or abrasive problems, with the exception of areas with traffic or equipment where damage would be anticipated? These are 120v lighting circuits.

It is either wet location or not--- if it will occasionally get wet then it would not be a wet area. Either way, emt is suitable for wet location provided you use wet location couplings and connectors.

If RMC meets forklift, forklift still gonna win.
Yeah - I had three 2500kVA transformers that can testify to that. The forklift driver was definitely not under the influence but he managed to hit two of the transformers in our storage yard and in panic to get away hit the third one. He took out the radiators of the first two and left a sizable dent in the tank of the third. Fortunately, all three turned out to be relatively quick repairs and none of them were scheduled for installation for about three weeks.

I feel bad for the guy, but I did laugh out loud at the third tranny getting nailed in a panic.

Something I could imagine me doing.

Have I mentioned I do not drive any more?:D
