I have guat 75 boxes that are supported on 2 sides within 18 " of the enclosure, by 3/4 inch GRC. On the third side, I have approximately 5 ft to the nearest joist, and that 3/4 inch conduit is secured there. The enclosure is a j-box void of any devices or fixtures.
314.23 (E) states that each conduit is secured within 3 ft of the enclosure. Since 2 conduits can support an enclosure, I thought that there might be an exception for this 3rd conduit being strapped within 3 ft. The third conduit is a full 10 ft piece.Hanging a trapeze on the third side would detract from the installation. Anything Im missing?
