On the side of a building, a set of four 5" conduits with an expansion joint fitting comes out to go to a manhole . The conduits are in a 4x4 configuration. The engineer required a length of 5 ft. after the expansion. Approx. 6 ft. away a concrete sewage line runs perpendicular to the conduits.
The concrete pipe's diameter is 18" and sits on a concrete pilecap. The trench built was too shallow for the conduits to clear the pipe.
Is it possible to install an enclosure/vault at the point of exit so that the conduits would go through the bottom of the enclosure and come out on the top of the opposite side with a 1x4 configuration to clear the concrete pipe?
thanks for the help again guys!
