Encountered a perfect storm today

So I encountered this gem today: FPE subpanel (loaded with 19 or so circuits), supplied by a 40a zinsco breaker in the zinsco (obviously) main. With #10 solid wire as a feeder, which was quite melted. I will try to get some pics tomorrow.

i wish...im not a contractor. it was a relatives house, its off and all getting replaced immediately.

i encountered some other things as well. A fire was imminent, no doubt about it. Looked like either a training video for home inspectors or something you would rig up before going on vacation for a while so its not there when you get back.
