Look at it this way.
In order for you to "believe" in this magic fairy dust, you must first believe one of two things:
1. There is a "grand worldwide conspiracy" by power utilities to make us waste energy so they can charge us more than we need to pay, or
2. The entire world-wide power utility industry is full of worthless nincompoop engineers who could not have picked up on this themselves.
In other words, who are you going to believe? If this concept (and by the way, this is not a "new" invention, this idea has been around for years) had real tangible merit, the utility industry would be all over it like stink on $#!+! That's because it would mean hey would have MORE energy to sell to someone else. Why do you think utilities pay big bucks to people in order to have them install load shedding equipment, energy efficient lighting, motors and VFDs? Are they crazy? No, they are basing their investment in energy savings by users because of a concept they call "avoided cost of delivery", meaning if you use less, they have more to sell to someone else. So if these things truly saved kWH as they claim, the power utility industry would install them for you!
So now step back to look at it again, and think about that old axiom, "follow the money". Who stands to gain by selling you something with lots of glitzy buzz words and hard-to-track testimonials? If they have a worthless product, they would have to sell it that way wouldn't they? Because if it was real, all they would need to do is tell one power utility and it would sell itself.
