Engineered Beams...

I would like to see if anyone has any experience in adding a Fan rated light box in an existing drywalled ceiling constructed with Engineered Beams. I can not gain access above this area of the house.

I have not yet tried to use the adjustable, Saf-T- Brace or Saf-T-Brace Sidemount Box(s) on this type of construction.

I was not sure if the adjustable type braces would fit.
