welcome to the forum.
The National Electric Code book is a good place to start.
The Electrician Handbook is one i would recommmend.

McGraw Hill also has two books you may be interested in. I would search Amazon.com for these, as you will most likely be able to save some bucks, even with a new book.

Electrical Calculations Handbook - John M. Paschal, Jr.

Electrical Engineer's Portable Handbook - Bob Hickey

Good Luck and welcome to the industry.
Note: If you really want to be a great engineer, frequent this site and try to talk with (not to) electricians in the field for more practical experience. This will put you at least a step ahead of most other engineers.

Welcome

Welcome

Welcome to the industry, as a PE with 22 years experience my most valuable experience came in the field. Early in my career I starting asking the electrician "If you had to design this project, what would have you done differently?" after every project. The lessons learned from this simple question were invaluable to me as a young engineer.
