I have been searching for years to find a good quality cord grip for Enphase Q cable (flat TC type cable).
2 issues:
1. I don't trust most cheap plastic/nylon to last on a roof in high UV and heat for decades.
2. Ideally the cable needs an oval/flat opening (not round).
Anybody else with same issue?
Anyways, I just found what looks like a great option from HEYCO, so I thought I'd share.
Happy NY!
A. So I just found this from HEYCO! Looks brand new. I do trust Heyco. (why?.... not sure, perhaps their years in the solar industry)
Also, it is black plastic. I understand black inherently tends to be most UV stable. (no white/colored UV zipties exist)
Comes in 1- and 2-cable sizes.

B. Most suppliers tell you to use Arlington (below) ......but they seem cheap and flimsy.
Commonly available, grey and yellow plastic.
It has a round opening....
C. Metal flat cable cord grips. I find these sporadically at electrical supply houses.
Usually solid metal with black bushing and an oval hole.
(D. Not an option. Weird that Enphase hasnt made their own yet! Maybe that is a good thing. They would likely charge $20 each.)
Interested in your expert ......and biased opinions!
