Im working on a 8 story building the first floor is all commercial T.I and live work units. There are no hard lids so we ran everything in the slab w/ ent and plan on running Ent through the steel framing. Has anybody ran ENT like this. It looks odd and seems like if anything we should be converting to flex. I know the code says its ok with a sprinkler system but has anybody actualy done it.

The few times I ran it thru steel framing members, I used a gromet in the frame. As far as I can see, its not Code required, but as easily as ENT cuts witha knife, I didn't like it laying on the edge of the frameing member.
