Ok so I know theres some guys on here who were around when this stuff first came out. What was your initial reaction to it. Did you like using it. Was it garbage from the get go? Did your opinion of it change? when and why? First time I encountered the stuff as a greenie I was told it was trash by my jman. So that was and is the opinion I have of it.

If it is not strapped well, it's a bear to get a fish tape in. Works well in block pylon signs though, bending it out of the block into each tenant sign is easier, and the wire pull to each sign is easier. Use 3/4" and 1" as conduits for data, phone and TV in houses, just stub it below the floor so if the homeowner goes with satellite TV or some high end surround sound system, cables are easily added later. Used it quite a bit when wiring Waffle Houses.

I only used it once. That was in a prison door jamb to the lock and a box that had to be added into the jamb for a button before they filled it with grout.

I never thought it was much good for anything else.

I guess I am just old school. ;)

I use a lot of it, but either blow the string or pull it before the bending.

Wish it was rated sunlight resistant for condensers.

I am not a fan of ENT because of strapping
it is such a pain.

Visited France a few years ago for a friend's
wedding and it looked like they were using
what looked like ENT as the most common
wiring method in concrete slabs, e.g. where
one might typically use PVC. I guess it's OK
if it's secured properly, but I didn't have the
chance to talk to anybody to confirm this.
I'm not sure if this was or wasn't some other
kind of tubing though.

I like to throw a few in the walls from basement to attic for house acess and almost always end up using them for extras after the original install. Usually 2 power 2 low volt

I like to do this as well, and I think this is a great idea
as long as I am getting paid for it.
