Has anyone heard or have experience regarding the "new" lead training coming?

I bumped into a link at mi.gov and did some reading on the EPA's site. It seems to me for simple repairs the training could be avoided? It talks about work less than 6sq feet of disturbance, not needing compliance.

Any input is appreciated.

I sent the guys to a class on it a year or two ago. I was supposed to go to but ended up doing service calls. One of the angecys that do rehab work strongly suggested that we get the training if we wanted to do work on some of their projects. The price was almost free at the time.

Recess a load center into an existing wall, cut in a few boxes & you are over the limit. Of course you are going to remember to tally up the sq inches as you go. Everyone does. Right?
