Equipment Grounding Conductor

Less than 600 volts AC.

Is there ever an application where PVC conduit does not have to contain an equipment grounding conductor?
Please sight the code reference.

Only place I can think of is a feeder to a seperate structure under certain conditions of 250.32 (B) where no metallic objects exist between the two structures.

Anywhere that PVC would be allowed in reference to Section 250.142 (2005 NEC).
