Hello,
Is there an NEC or NFPA 70E or even OSHA requirement to have an Equipment label with its name on it. For example for a panelboard a, does the code require it to have a label marking 'Panel A'? If so which can you share the reference of the code? The only item I can find in the NEC and NFPA 70E is to have the circuit legibly identified (NEC 110. 22 & NFPA 70E 205.12). I would consider the panel name to be part of 110 . 22 requirement but the language is vague.
