Equipment to be on emergency power - Kitchen per article 517.

Healthcare facility - Kitchen:

Besides fire supression system and kitchen hood supply or exhaust system need to to be on emergency power per article 517.

Does anyone know if there is other equipment / control need to be on emergency power? Like refrigerator to keep food fresh all time...Or this is the user's call?

This would not be an "emergency" power situation. But I've done one facility that the user did not request the freezer/coolers be on emergency power and I had my a$$ chewed during a week long power outage due to a wind storm. No longer will walk-in coolers and freezers be on normal power, unless the user specifically requests (in writing) otherwise!
