Eratta and TIA 2017

Are the Errata and TIA that is listed on the NFPA website for the 2017 NEC part of the code that is not in the 2017 book?

If I purchased the PDF would there be already incorporated into the file, or should they be referenced to their article?

I remember being told that there's 12 digits across the very first page down at the bottom. As the document is updated, numbers are removed. So the first printing has 1-12. After it's updated, the 1 is removed. So just by looking at those numbers, you can tell what 'edition' you have.

Whether that's true or not I have never been able to verify.

When I purchased the 2004 book with the pdf there were omissions or errata in the book but not on the pdf. I don't think TIA's will go in the book or pdf but I am not certain.
