Are electrical contractors that do design builds, required to carry errors and omissions Inc.?

We just received a project that is a design build and the GC is asking us if we have errors and omissions Inc.

Thanks for your timely replys.

E&O insurance is something a professional engineer would need, but I don't think it is relevant to an electrical contractor. Does any of your design/build work require plans, specifications, calculations, or other documents to be prepared under the supervision of a PE? If so, do you have a PE on your staff?

It may be relevant to an electrical contractor if they are doing alarm work, we carry lability with E&O since we also do alarm installations.
