ok I don't use this site very often, so I don't know how to start my own thread.
The question is about a transformer that is 220v to 120 volts. The "guys"
put the hot and the neutral to X2 and X1 respectively and then hooked it up to a GFI. So I asked how is the neutral established on the 2ndary since there is no gound? I said that the ground should be on the neutral and bonded to the chassi which goes to ground. No one had an answere.
