Estimating for future project.

I was approached to offer an estimate on a fairly large commercial/NFP that will be using estimate as part of a grant process. Grant maybe at least a year and a half to be awarded.
Looking for suggestions on handling product pricing volatility that far out. Would anyone today be willing to even give such an estimate? Labor time estimate not so much an issue as that might not change as much.

Just state clearly that materials are priced as of today and do not reflect what they may be in the future.

That is what I was thinking. Don't spend a bunch of time on this.
