Re: Estimating

There are MANY companies that create estimating software. It all depends on what you need and what you are willing to spend.

The National Electrical Estimator is $38 @ amazon.com

Jaffe at $899

Then there's :
RS Means
Accubid
McCormick
VisionSoft
Estimation
etc

All in NO particualr order.

I have NO answer to a blanket question like "What is the software application to estimate electrical construction?".

Re: Estimating

Any comments on Estimation? I'm looking for different estimating software. Some are totally overpriced and I have test driven those. Accubid and McCormick. I am currently using Visionsoft but am looking. Tets drove Jaffe. Not too impressed.
Open too suggestions.
Thanks

Re: Estimating

Does anybody have any experiences with the National Electrical Estimator that they would like to share? Does it cover both residential and commerical? Are the labor units accurate at all?
