I've got four service disconnects, two that are outside next to their respective meters, and two that are just inside the door to the left. I'm going to put a phenolic sign on the meter that serves the inside disconnect indicating where they are.

What's a succinct wording for this? My first try is:

DISCONNECTS LOCATED JUST
INSIDE DOOR TO YOUR LEFT

It doesn't seem professional enough.

Inspector has already approved this arrangement, just looking for the proper wording.

does the room they are located in have an architectural designation i.e room 115?, or an assigned name i.e mechanical room?

Thanks for the idea, but no...the area is kind of beat up. In fact, they don't even know what they're going to do with that room right now.

If there is not more than one door nearby and your labeler can make an arrow
. DISCONNECTS LOCATED
<----(insert better version of arrow here)
. INSIDE DOOR

Or make a label the door, A perhaps, and then label
DISCONNECTS LOCATED
INSIDE DOOR A

How about:

SERVICE DISCONNECT LOCATED INSIDE
ACCESSIBLE THRU DOOR TO THE LEFT
