everdur conduit

i was reading the electricians handbook and i read the section of everdur conduit. can you still buy that stuff? i never seen brass conduit before

i never seen brass conduit before

I recall seeing it on an old riverboat once, but that's all I can recall.

before the dawn of time and pvc, it was used for the conduit from
a wet niche pool forming shell to the junction box for the light....
the pool in my backyard has 15' of it. the pool was built in 1962.

it's still around, but very pricey... the last time i saw it being used
in new construction was on an aboveground aluminum swimming pool
at a hotel in newport beach, in 1983... they were using it instead of pvc,
as the bottom of the pool was exposed.
