It doesn't look like their flip flops kept the power strip out of the water good enough anyhow....

Unfortunately, yes. I had a friend go to a res for service and found a homemade receptacle that was mounted in a dish soap container. The guy was sick of going through so many batteries to his portable TV that drifted on a raft next to him in his pool. So, the HO put on his thinking cap. "What about those GFCI thingy dingys? No more trips to get batteries!"

I'll try to find the picture, hold on,.......

Gotta love the flip flop floatation system. That took some enginuity!

Anyone know the original source for this? I think it's a put-on. I first saw it yesterday in another forum as a silly discussion on whether or not you could be electrocuted in that situation;
