getting ready to take the exam my co worker said these questions he thought he missed, help me understand the correct answers?

Should crawl space lighting without storage or equipment be required to have enclosed luminaire, wet location luminaire, or damp-location rated luminaire?

The splicing of existing direct buried underground service condutors to extend to a new service loation:
is prohibited, would require special permission, would require splicing devies identified for this use, or would require a listed underground splice box or encloser

The avalible short cicuit current at the line terminals of any overcurrent device?
will determin the amps rating of the overcurrent device
will always be equal to the short circuit current at the load side of the transformer
shall not exceed the amps interrupting capacity of the ovecurrrent device
is not a factor provided the main ovecurrent device is propely rated for a avalible short circiuit

Tell us what you think the answers are and how you arrived at those answers, we can then steer you in the right direction to find the correct answer. We do not just out and out answer homework or exam questions.

ok roger

Common sense to me, damp location rated luminaire. The crawl space can flood but the answer that makes most sense to me is damp

So i know you can splice underground direct buried wire, I think its devices identified for this use.

The avalible short cicuit curent at the line terminals of any overcurrent device will determine the amps rating of the overcurrent device
