Does anyone in this forum know if other states have reciprocity with the state you passed your electrical exam? In other words, will my Florida exam results be able to be used for licensing in other states?
If you passed your tests and got your EC licence then I believe North Carolina and Georgia have reciprocity. Check the myfloridalicense.com website for details.
Seems like it is more common to see reciprocation of journeyman licenses but contractor licenses often must still take exams in other states.
If your license does reciprocate to another state you still have to apply for and pay any fees they normally charge to issue said license. You also need to make sure any required CEU's for renewal you take are accepted by that state when it comet time to renew.
