So,
I did exactly what I knew was wrong, assumed that the Mass Journeyman exam
would be on the 2011 (currently adopted code).
Just to be sure I tried to call the Board of examiners, and THEY DON"T EVEN KNOW WHICH CODE THEY'RE
TESTING ON!!! AAAAARGH!..."Maybe the 2008, call PSI..."
PSI is in Las Vegas, and won't be up and running until 1/2 before my exam.

If anyone has just taken this exam, or knows someone who has, let me know,
I'd really like to have my notes written in the correct book(I'm bringing both)

I guess it would make sense for them to use the 2008 book, so I have to immediately get an
update class.

Thanks,
Chas

Wow, beauracracy at its' finest.
The State of Mass doesn't know what code the test is on,
and neither does the testing agency!

Luckily the kind lady administering the test let me take both in to the exam,
and the questions seemed to match up with the 2011 code.

I passed both sections nonetheless, but now it will take the next three years for
the State to decide which update I need....and then they'll tell me I took the wrong one
and I need to take the other one twice before it will count.

God save the Commonwealth....

Typically there is a 6 month grace period between the new code and the testing company. It is crazy that the board would not know this information.

BTW how did you do?
