Electrician License or Inspector

Electrician License or Inspector

Far as licensing goes u need to be in some type of apprenticeship. And learning the NEC is being in the trade and following the code of installation. You can buy books online and study but, u need to be in the trade too really understand it.

Although the code is called the NEC... there is almost nothing "national" about it or about ANY of the licensing based on it.

Licensing is done at the state level (50) and often at the county or city level (another 300?)... and there is very little reciprocity between these (many) governmental entities.

Some states will allow an EE to use that education to *partially* qualify to sit for the licensing tests but not without also having thousands of hours actually working under another licensed electrician for field experience.

As to doing any of this on line... no.

Hope that helps and clarifies your inquiry.

,for the certificstion i know from you that i have to live inside usa .but for the NEC how can i certified to make a design to the projects out side the USA

In answer to the question, there are not really any "certifications on the nec". There are state licenses needed to perform electrical work, and the exams concentrate heavily on code. And they dont generally require apprenticeship if you are an engineer (depending on the state). But frankly, most of the license holders arent terribly knowledgeable about the code anyway. Best bet for you is to be licensed as an engineer in some state(s), but it really depends on why you want this.
