My Question Is If U Install An Exhaust Fan Above Shower Or Bath Tub Does It Have To Be Protected From A Gfi Receptacle & Also Does A Recesses Can Light Applies For It And If So, Under What Article Specifies For Being Protected From A Gfi Receptacle?
Wow i cant even read that. About 5/8 the way though i had a headache. I can answer the first part i could read though. "No Da Exxhasust Faannn Dusnt Havva Be Onna gFi.
According to the NEC, exhaust fans do not require GFCI protection unless it is a requirement of the fan manufacturer. Most of the fans that I've seen have this requirement when installed over a shower or tub. Recessed lights do not require GFCI protection when installed in the same location.
Welcome to the forum. As you can see from some of the other posts, spelling, grammar, punctuation and proper capitalization are expected to be perfect. And never write anything as if this were a text message.
