Existing Ugly Work

Scenario: EMT leaving exposed panel is not plumb.Do I match the existing pipes so they look parallel OR do I make my pipe plumb and then the two runs dont match?

What would you do?

I would ask the customer how they want it, that way they can not complain and it shows you care.

Most times I follow existing conditions particularly out of plumb or level motor joints in bricks.
