Hi
I am working with US Navy, Middle east.Our specs ask for a exit sign(with Nickel-Cadmium battery) which shall have a meter to indicate battery voltage and battery charger shall be current limited.Can anybody explain , what is the voltage limit and current limit battery charger?Is this product is available, complying both requirements?

I think all battery chargers limit the current. (A simple resistor is a current limiting device, so is a fuse).

I also think standard exit signs with what some manufacturer's call "standard diagnostics" would satisfy your spec.

This is an example from cooper lighting. You can get it factory installed on their exit signs. Daybrite and Lithonia have similar options.
