I recently specified tritium type exit signs that are powered by radioactive gases for an industrial site. Found out, that no radioactive material is allowed.
I am going to specify a photoluminescent type exit sign (Glo-Brite) that have no radioactive gases. There is a pigment inside the sign that absorbs and stores surrounding fluorescent light.
Has anyone seen these signs installed? Are they compatible to tritium? Likes/Dislikes?
