All my career I have used "drip" loops at expansion joints, but on this project the spec calls for OZ/Gedney expansion fittings. This is not an issue. Upon installing the fittings and preparing a wire pull, #10s and #12s, I started to wonder. What keeps the expansion fitting from breaking the wire, or pulling it out if the j-boxes on either end, or at the very least chafing the insulation.
