Expansion Fittings

In our application we have about 10 feet of RMC going aprox 24 inches underground and then transition to RNC(schedule 40), this RNC emerges from underground and comes up thru the floor into a heated building and is strapped to the wall. The lenght of the underground run could be 50 to 300 ft. The RNC conduit is 24 to 30 inches below grade and is typically installed in the warmer months before the Wisconsin winter months.

Question: Are expansion fittings required in this application in order to comply with Article 352.44

You don't need expansion fittings unless 352.44 requires you to use them. It doesn't look to me like you will have enough change in temperature to exceed ? in. of length change.
