expansion fittings

An emergency generator outside, has a disconnect mounted on a pedistal with two 2" conduits for line and load. They go from rigid, underground, to EMT when they emerge from the ground. Does anyone see a need for exp. couplings in this senerio? BTW, the ground will freeze.

Thanks, Chris. I was looking in the index at exp. and couldn't come up with anything, but 300.5(j) fpn should cover it.
