Expansion loops in conduit

If you have an EMT run across a building expansion joint, and you install an FMC loop across the joint

Does a FMC loop across an expansion joint count as a bend in a conduit?

The 360 degree rule specifies that all bends between pull points are additive. What sort of loop do you envision?

If the FMC is straight it would not count towards the 360° rule but if you left a big dip in it then yes it would count.

If your bends are an issue, install a C Conduit body or J box on one end of the loop.

Nothing says you can't pull through more than 360 degrees of bends. Just that there can be no more than 360 degrees between pull points.
