Doing a bid for providing power to an exterior diesel and gas tank pump on a ranch to fuel equipment.
Current set up is 12v dc pump alligator clipped to a car battery sitting on the wall next to the tanks..
Power source is about 40’ away.
Looking to install a 12v transformer and feed a switch at each tank for pumps.
3/4” pvc in ground to feed switch
12v wiring to switch location from power source.
are seal offs and explosion proof devices/boxes required.
We don’t do very much hazardous area work. Want to make sure we go about it correctly.
We’ve wired a few but it had a clear set of plans and called out locations for seal offs and rated boxes.
